Flow Sensitive -

a vital design ingredient that you will wish for in all your software.

The unique flow sensitive design, developed 23 years ago by the founder of EON Systems, is that long sought after elixir that reduces time spent on computer tasks and helps all the staff get home at night with the billing and documentation done.

What is Flow Sensitive? - Simply put, it means that the program follows the way we know we work and think. The result--fewer clicks, logical sequences, ease of use. That is the value you get in implementing all EON Systems' programs.

For example, with other software that is not flow sensitive, when a patient checks in at the front desk the receptionist will typically need to print out a fee slip or travel card for the patient.  First she will need to find the patient record, then click on a menu to find the fee slip, then click on the fee slip to print it.  Then she will need to pull up the appointment calendar and find the patient.  Then she will need to pull up the service entry screen, locate the patient again.  Then enter the services.  Then she will need to pull up the payment screen, find the patient again.  Then enter the payment.  Then she will need to pull up the future appointment schedule, find the patient again.  Then enter the future appointments.  That’s a lot of finding and clicking!

In comparison, with flow sensitive software the front desk person is very efficient.  With The Practice Solution (TPS), when a patient checks in at the front desk, a fee slip is automatically printed.  Of course, if you use TPS with Documentor there is no need to even print the fee slip as Documentor sends an electronic fee slip to the front desk.  Once the patient returns to the front desk, the services are entered, the payment is entered and rescheduling occurs automatically in sequence, without ever having to “find” the patient again.  With the flow sensitive design, this process can take as few as 8 to 10 clicks rather than 25 to 40 clicks with other software.

Why Flow Sensitive?

Computer programs are supposed to make your life and business simpler and more efficient. However, too often they make simple tasks more complex, or add more work, or force one to change one's logical and simple office procedures. The flow sensitive design is a revolution in software design that provides simple and logical solutions to offices and clinics enabling software to flow with one's natural office procedures.

The Digital Office - A Flow Sensitive Software System consisting of The Practice Solution, Documentor and Document Solution.

The Practice Solution, the billing and practice management software, follows the natural pattern of your office.
There is no complex menu system to follow. The program just follows the natural flow. The result is fewer clicks than other billing software, which adds up to ease of use and less time spent.

Documentor, software that provides fully customized and rapidly written notes, also maintains this simplicity. In one click, you see who your next patient is including their picture, their x-rays and with one more click--the list of that patient's past notes, each instantly accessible for view and use.

Create your SOAP note in seconds as you speak with your patient; enter your diagnosis and treatment by just touching the screen or clicking with a mouse. Save it and the front desk has all this data available to them even before the patient arrives back to the receptionist to pay the bill.

Add to all this Document Solution, the document storage and management software which stores all your notes, x-rays, MRIs, exercise routines, letters and other documents by patient or carrier, while providing you the means to send and receive these by email or fax in the way you are used to handling any email.

The Digital Office, comprising these three powerful software components, is the first flow sensitive, "less-paper" system that will add value to your office, increase profits and save you many late nights.
