EXECUTIVES

Derek Greenwood – FOUNDER & CEO

I started working on the first version of TPS clear back in 1986.  In 1988 I started EON and a few months later Rose joined me.  Working with this great group of people has just been wonderful.  They all work very hard to bring to each office the very best software experience so that each and every office can expand and help more patients.  I am lucky in that I get to work in the future so to speak.  I am constantly working on future versions of the software.  Currently I am even working 3-4 years into the future on what will be the biggest advancement in practice management software ever unveiled.  Yes, I love my job.

 

Rose Greenwood – PRESIDENT

I have been working for EON, along with my husband, the designer of our software, for the last 21 years and I love it! I have had the unique opportunity of doing nearly every job there is here at EON, at some point or another. Now, I run the day-to-day operations and thoroughly enjoy the people I work with. They are like family to me; actually some of them are my family. Yes, those are our grandchildren you have seen in our annual Christmas photo. EON is a great place to work, constantly providing me with unique opportunities to meet and help people that are in turn helping other people.

 

Ruth Lyons – Executive Establishment Officer

I have been working at EON for over a year and this is the place for me. We have a fantastic group here where it is fun to come to work every day and every day I learn something new – still – and I love to learn new things. For me this is my family and my friends.

 

Jan Thomas – Executive VP Public Relations

I love working at EON.  I have been given an area of responsibility and given the freedom to create that area. The EON family is a fun group who likes to play games based around production.  (I’m still using my three day pass to Disney World.)  I look forward to coming to work in the morning and that is a big deal for me.

 

Alex Greenwood – EVP Public Relations Assistant  

I really enjoy working at EON Systems for a number of reasons, one is I really enjoy the area I work in. PR Rocks! Number two is I really do enjoy who I work with. I don’t think of any of them as just my coworkers but also as my friends. It’s a lot of fun working with people you like and care for and who are here for the same reason you are, to help people.

As a senior sales consultant for a number of years, one of the things I admire about EON Systems is their dedication to improving existing software programs and being a leader in creating new cutting-edge programs for a digital and paperless era. As an indicator of EON Systems being a leader in our industry, we have been constantly flattered over the years when our competitors try to copy our features and functions. In addition, when the current economic climate has been challenging, like it is now, and many of our competitors are downsizing, another indicator is that EON Systems has not had to downsize and is, in fact, growing in the number of the products being released and continues to go forward with its research and development of new products.

Although I haven’t been with EON very long it has been an enjoyable experience. The company is very well organized and the people here are very friendly and helpful. The training program has been well organized which allows me to gain the knowledge I need to help our clients. As an Ex-navy sea-bee I love to problem solve, computers, helping people and programing. Here at EON I get to do all that with what I think is the best team in the business. I would put them up against anybody. I'm currently completing my BS in Computer Programing.

Mark Blakey – Support Technician

I really like what I do and helping our customers. I get a lot of satisfaction from knowing that when I get off the phone with them the office is running well. The people I work with are great; we have a lot of fun and strive to keep it that way.

I enjoy working at EON, as unlike any other company I have worked for, here at EON it is a real tight group and everyone is dedicated to supporting each other and bringing about success, not just for EON, but for our customers too. I have the privilege of demonstrating the software programs to prospective clients. EON has been the first in the industry many times over, but emulated by others, so that gives you a good idea on how advanced and effective our products are.
